Bar Stars is a social discovery app that makes it easier to meet new people, meet up with your friends and answer the question that faces everyone who wants to experience a good time: “Where should we go?”

With Bar Stars you can now check and see if a place is worth going to and see how many friends you have at nearby bars before you spend the time and money getting there.

With the touch of a button you can view the:
- number of users at a location
- average age of users
- guy/girl ratio
- number of Facebook friends
you have at bars around you in real time.

When you check into a place on Bar Stars you remain completely anonymous. Your friends can see that they have a friend at the bar but they wont know exactly who until they walk in and see in-person.

Simply log in with Facebook and allow Bar Stars to access your location.

Open the app when you go out to get an idea of how many people and friends you have at nearby bars.

*A note on battery. We’ve spent a lot of time developing the location technology that powers Bar Stars, making it extremely power efficient. But, as with all apps of this type, continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
